Aysan Matbaa Makine ve Malzemeleri expands machine portfolio at Avrasya Ambalaj İstanbul 2024
Aysan Matbaa Makine ve Malzemeleri Ltd. Şti. had a successful four days at the 29th International Avrasya Ambalaj İstanbul 2024 Fair. Sales Manager Salih Karaman commented on their exhibited products and visitor interest:
“We have machine representations added to our portfolio over the last eight months, including corrugated-lamination, automatic cutting, cellophane, and gluing machines. Our primary sales goal is customer satisfaction with purchased machines, so we emphasize machine quality. As a long-established material supplier, maintaining continuity with customers in machinery is crucial. We aim for a marathon, not a sprint. We sell with confidence in our products. Our customers span across Turkey, and feedback is excellent. To date, we have sold approximately 13 machines, including laminators, cellophane machines, gluing machines, and plotters.”
He continued: “We trust our machines and stand behind our products. Customers often recommend us. Expert staff work in sales and service. Issues are typically process-related, not material-related. We explain this to clients open to innovation.”
Successful discussions on KDX cellophane machines
Aysan held successful talks on the Italian-Chinese joint KDX cellophane machine. Salih Karaman added: “We have machines produced in the Far East for Europe. We counter the perception of lower-quality Chinese machines. Our represented manufacturers made most sales to European countries at drupa 2024. Even buyers from six months ago still thank us, generating new sales opportunities. Every component—from metal and screws to belts and automation—meets quality assurance before sale.”
Aysan also categorizes material sales into three groups: pre-press, printing, and post-press. Experienced specialists handle all areas. Newly developed products, particularly for cutting, box-making, and packaging, help customers save time and cost. The company sells Fogra-certified inks and chemicals under the Blueray brand directly to end users and distributors, both domestic and international.
They offer all types of cold and hot foil and have a professional slitting machine to cut materials to requested sizes and lengths, minimizing waste. They represent Novurania blankets, providing both high-end and economical options without compromising technical quality.
For box cutting and creasing, Aysan collaborates with suppliers from the UK, Italy, and the Far East. They recommend materials that allow uninterrupted machine operation, saving time—a feature appreciated by clients. They also supply products for flexo and rotary cutting, including cleaning chemicals, cliché tapes, polyurethane anvil covers, and push rollers.
Upcoming installations
Sales Manager Galip Moğulkoç summarized pre-fair and fair sales:
“The fair went very well. We are grateful to our visitors and clients. We represent KDX, a leader in Italian-partnered film laminators since drupa. KDX machines offer hot-knife units and up to 35% electricity savings, outperforming competitors in job changeovers and production speed, operating at an average of 7,000 meters per hour.
Immediately before the fair, we sold two KDX machines and concluded a long-followed project. New machine sales were also completed at the fair for Ümit Matbaacılık, DTY Matbaacılık, and Aydan Kutu (Ankara), with installations planned before year-end. Additionally, a folding-gluing machine was sold to Mabsan for installation next year.
We saw strong demand for consumables, particularly Blueray inks and foil, from countries including Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria. Current exports exceed 30%, and we aim to increase this. With printing shifting to Egypt, it has been added to our target markets. Overall, the 2024 Avrasya Ambalaj Fair was very successful for Aysan.”
