Aysan Matbaa Makine ve Malzemeleri Ltd. Şti. has become the Turkish representative of Huatai Printing Machinery Co. Ltd., China’s first private-shaped die-cutting machine manufacturer.
Huatai is a prominent Chinese brand in its field. Its die-cutting machine with a capacity of 10,000 sheets per hour has won China’s National Science and Technology Progress Award.
Huatai offers customers die-cutting and creasing, foil stamping, hologram printing, stripping, ejection, cold and hot embossing, deep embossing, and high-density rigid material cutting with models HT1060, HT1050, HT860, HT810, HT760, HT600, HT1300, HT1500.
The company’s automatic die-cutting, embossing, and foil stamping machines are recommended for commercial, label, and packaging printers due to high speed, high performance, short setup times, superior quality, and user-friendly design.
Huatai provides versatile solutions for different industries. Its machines are suitable for cardboard boxes, shopping bags, labels, self-adhesive labels, and PVC packaging.
We spoke with second-generation managers Kerem Babataş and Kadir Babataş at Aysan’s headquarters regarding the latest Huatai machines in their portfolio.
Kadir Babataş states:
“Huatai has been in the sector since 1996 and is one of the first die-cutting machine manufacturers in China. They are highly experienced and prioritize the Turkish market. Before us, their machines were already in Turkey. We believe our partnership strengthens their presence further. They have special-size machines. Leading multinational printing-packaging companies in Europe use Huatai machines in their Sri Lanka, Spain, and Turkey facilities.
They have machines suitable for corrugated and cardboard cutting, starting at 60 cm, offering an alternative to older traditional machines (‘kazanlı’ style) common in many print shops. Most factories start at 70 × 100 cm, but Huatai machines start at 50 × 70 cm, with sizes up to 105, 106, and 150 cm. Foil units can also be attached, and mechanical speeds reach 9,000 sheets per hour.
Huatai focuses exclusively on die-cutting machine R&D, which ensures good craftsmanship. Their long history and machines already used in Turkey and Europe give us an advantage.
There are various models: standard die-cutting, presses with 550–600 tons pressure for combined cutting and embossing, foil-equipped machines, and full-feeder machines with pins. The HT1060P model outputs fully stripped boxes without a separate stripping unit. We allocated this machine to Toprak Grafik at 3. Matbaacılar Sitesi, targeting installation in May or early June. Current delivery is 45 days; disruptions like the Suez Canal closure can extend it to 3–3.5 months.
We handle installation directly at the factory because balance adjustments during setup are critical. Some machine faults originate during installation, so we never skip this step. Huatai has over 30 machines installed in Turkey before us, still with their first users, proving reliability and quality.
We have a service technician experienced specifically with Huatai machines, supervised by our technical team.”
Kerem Babataş adds:
“All mechanical and electrical components are from global brands. They monitor the latest technology in machine parts. Remote software access allows 24-hour troubleshooting. From feeding to output units, we have options for both automatic and semi-automatic foil and stripping.
For labels, our smaller machines are advantageous. Huatai machines are suitable for embossing (gren) on labels, packaging, and store shopping bags because they can apply 500–600 tons of pressure, not just the standard 300 tons.”
After entering the machine sector last year with die-cutting and laminating machines following drupa, Aysan Matbaa Makine ve Malzemeleri partners plan to maintain a trust-based sales policy with customers.
